Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) is a nanoparticle sizing and concentration determination technique in which a laser beam is passed through a suspension of nano-sized particles undergoing Brownian motion. The NTA software tracks the particle movement and uses the Stokes-Einstein equation to determine the hydrodynamic diameter of the particles.
Our NTA system is a Nanosight LM10 with a Hamamatsu C11440-50B/A11893-02 camera that facilitates nanoparticle visualization in both scattering and fluorescence modes using a 488 nm laser. The setup is equipped with a syringe pump to enable measurements of fluorescent particles or particles at low concentrations.
